Tadhg O'Sullivan's film
The Great Wall, funded under the Arts Council's Reel Art Scheme, will be released at the IFI from 21 August.
'This bold new documentary, an adaptation of a Kafka story, looks at the enclosure of Europe by a complex system of walls and fences. Mysterious and visually dazzling, the film journeys across a range of European landscapes, and encounters those whose lives are defined by these walls - detainees within European migrant camps' (Sunniva O'Flynn, IFI).
On 23 August, director Tadhg O'Sullivan will be in conversation with Michael Ryan at the IFI, presenting and discussing a selection of his short works as part of the IFI's Ireland on Sunday series.
