Work is progressing well on the two Reel Art projects selected in 2015: Ken Wardrop’s The Piano Lesson, and John Murphy and Traolach Ó Murchú’s Rochester: City of Film.
The Piano Lesson features nine pianos, nine students and nine teachers. It charts the musical journey of students and their teachers through the piano grading system and creatively explores the impact of formal training on musicality and creativity.

Rochester: City of Film presents a portrait of photography itself as told through the lens of the citizens of a city defined by film. Both films will be screened at the Dublin International Film Festival in February 2017.
