Laureate na nÓg Sarah Crossan is inviting individuals and organisations to submit proposals for projects under her Laureate theme #WeAreThePoets. The #WeAreThePoets project will work with partners in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland inspiring young people to express themselves through poetry, whether written, spoken or performed, to give their voices and their stories a platform. As Laureate, Sarah is focusing on a small number of themes and projects, initiated by herself and/or in collaboration with others.
The application window for #WeAreThePoets is currently open with a submission deadline of Friday 19 October. Further details on the project and information on how to submit a proposal are available at https://childrenslaureate.ie/
