Awards up to €30,000 towards artists’ workspace running costs such as light, heat, rent, visual artists’ development programmes, administration and/or appropriate salary costs (capital costs cannot be applied for through this scheme).

Engaging with architecture scheme

The purpose of this scheme is to support initiatives that aim to enhance and extend the public’s experience of and engagement with architecture. This is a partnership scheme between the Arts Council and the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government.

Artist in the community scheme bursary award

The arts and older people bursary award, as part of the artist in the community scheme, aims to support an individual professional artist in any artform working in the field of arts and older people.

Touring and dissemination of work scheme

This scheme is designed to support the touring and dissemination of work in all arts disciplines in 2011. It is intended that two further strands will be introduced in due course: long-term tour planning for tours taking place in 2012 and short-term planning for tours which require a rapid response. In the meantime, however, this is the only scheme in operation for touring and dissemination of work in 2011. Proposals for tours which begin in 2011 and continue into the early part of 2012 can also be included.
