The Arts Council supports artists and groups to collaborate in planning, making, and presenting work in contexts such as: health; disability; cultural diversity; older people; and communities of place/ interest. Priority is given to work that clearly demonstrates artistic ambition, collaborative planning, quality of engagement, and opportunities for critical reflection and evaluation.
We are developing a series of case studies in order to highlight the wide range of approaches taken in this complex and exciting area of practice. A list of existing case studies can be found to the left. So far, we have examples of work drawn from Arts and Health (Puppet Portal); Arts and Communities (Illuminate); and Cultural Diversity and the Arts (Hungry Tea). We will be adding further case studies in the coming months.
