Our strategic approach

Our goals in Partnership for the Arts are based on our interpretation of our role in the current arts landscape and on detailed discussions with the arts community, public policy makers and others.

  • Affirm and promote the value of the arts in society
  • Assist artists in realising their artistic ambitions
  • Make it possible for people to extend and enhance their experience of the arts
  • Strengthen arts organisations countrywide so as to secure the basis of a vibrant and stable arts community
  • Ensure the Arts Council works effectively
