Mark O’Regan has been a professional actor for nearly thirty years. He has a long association with the Abbey and Gate theatres in Dublin. His work for the Abbey Theatre includes: Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme; Juno and the Paycock; The Plough and the Stars and The School for Scandal. Appearances at the Gate theatre include; Fathers and Sons; Sharon’s Grave; Festen; Sweeney Todd; The Old Curiosity Shop and All My Sons.  

At the Gaiety theatre he appeared in Borstal Boy; Translations and The Field. He has also worked in the Everyman and the Opera House in Cork; Galway Arts’ Festival; and the Arts’ Theatre in Belfast.
 
His work abroad has taken him to the Edinburgh, Japan, New York, and Montreal.

TV and film highlights include The Commitments; Upwardly Mobile; Black Day at BlackrockInto the West; The Last of the High Kings and Angela’s Ashes. Mark also reviews film on the Marian Finucane show on RTE 1.
