"This is wonderful news for both the Abbey Theatre and Mark O’ Rowe, and it’s another example of the achievement of Irish theatre and playwrights. The Arts Council is very proud of its role as the main funder for the Abbey Theatre," Ms Braiden said.
Speaking following the announcement, Mary Cloake, Director of The Arts Council said, "We are thrilled with the success of Mark O’Rowe and the Abbey. The award for Terminus underscores once more the calibre of Irish theatre, and the high esteem in which it is held at home and abroad."
