Theo Dorgan and composer Colm Mac An Iomaire will collaborate with Barry McGovern and Olwen Fouéré to create a stage work based on the poem Sappho's Daughter for a world premiere in June 2013. The poem has been translated into Greek, and it is planned to undertake a setting in the Greek traditional idiom also. The intention is to stage the premiere as a dialogue between two languages, with separate performances by Irish and Greek musicians.
