NCC and CICF to continue their joint commitment to commissioning choral works by Irish composers with a new piece by Enda Bates. Crash Ensemble

To commission a new work by David Flynn for Crash Ensemble. To be premiered in 2012-13 and incorporated into Crash’s repertoire for continued performance. Flynn’s work continues Crash Ensemble’s support of Irish composers and cross-music-genre collaboration by fusing Congolese soukous music with ensemble.

To commission Irish composer John Buckley to write a work of approximately 15-minutes duration for the flute, viola and harp ensemble Triocca.
