Cultural Contact Points (CCPs) have been established in each of the 37 countries participating in the EU Culture Programme 2007-2013. The role of each CCP is to promote EU funding for culture at local, regional and national level and to provide technical assistance to those organisations making applications.
2013 will see the conclusion of the EU Culture Programme 2007-2013 and the launch of the new Creative Europe Programme 2014-2020. During the Irish Presidency, Ireland will host an informal meeting of the entire CCP network in May 2013. The meeting will provide an opportunity for peer-to-peer networking and exchange of best practice models. In 2013 the meeting will be focused on Creative Europe and the new opportunities and potential it provides.
