The NYAH festival celebrates the traditional music, song, dance and culture of County Cavan, the Ulster tradition and the county’s very own musical style. The festival will mark its tenth birthday in 2013 with a EU NYAH Trad Sásta CONNECTIONS programme with guests from Italy, Portugal, Brittany and Switzerland.
NYAH (pronounced neeyah) is an expression used to describe music from the heart that is neither forced nor phony.
