Jameson Dublin International Film Festival and the National Concert Hall are delighted to welcome film composer Dario Marianelli to Dublin to present a concert of his film scores.
This showcase will celebrate the Italian composer who began his film career working on Irish feature films such as Ailsa and I Went Down. Marianelli won the Oscar, Golden Globe and Ivor Novello in the Best Original Score category for the award winning film Atonement, for which he was also BAFTA nominated.
The RTÉ Concert Orchestra will present a programme specially selected for the National Concert Hall, which will be introduced by Dario Marianelli, including music from Ailsa and I Went Down as well as debut Irish performances of The Brothers Grimm, Pride and Prejudice, Anna Karenina and Atonement suites.
