Description
This scheme provides financial support to selected visual artists to conduct workshops over a period of 10 days in the education units in any of the Republic’s prisons. The maximum awarded per workshop is €2,400. Interested individuals should contact the coordinator. Inclusion on the panel does not guarantee work.
Deadline
The Visual Artists in Prisons Scheme is currently being reviewed by the Arts Council and the Irish Prison Service. The Scheme is closed for application until this review is complete. Updates will be included in the Arts Council Newsletter and on social media.
