The Arts Council is the government agency for developing the arts in Ireland. We work in partnership with artists, arts organisations, public policy makers and others to build a central place for the arts in Irish life.
The Arts Council's responsibility for music is distinctive because of its sheer diversity in terms of genres and musical styles, ranging across classical (including orchestral, choral, contemporary music and chamber music), improvised musics including jazz and a range of associated forms of practice and world music. Managing this area requires expertise, including detailed knowledge and understanding of the professional practice of musicians.
5.00 p.m. Monday, 1 December 2014.
For further details on this opportunity, including the application process, please download the candidate information booklet.
The Arts Council is committed to equal opportunity in employment and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
