The Strategic Development Director is a key leadership role ensuring that the Arts Council acts authoritatively and strategically as the expert public agency to lead, develop and promote the arts in Ireland. A key output for the successful candidate will be to oversee the on-going implementation and monitoring of the new Arts Council’s Strategy, Making Great Art Work 2016–2025. We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the Council. Operating at Clerical Officer grade and initially assigned to the areas of Film, International Arts and Literature, the successful individual will play a key role in working with colleagues and supporting teams to contribute to the work of the Council. Potential candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in addition to strong ICT and organisational skills.
