“Culture Night has grown exponentially
over its 19 years and my department is delighted to support this truly unique
and fantastic initiative that celebrates the vast variety of culture that our island
has to offer. Its message of ‘One Night For All’ is a tagline, but more
importantly a principle, as the Arts Council works to create an even more
inclusive and accessible Culture Night experience for all members of our
community. The success of Culture Night would not be possible without the vital
work of the Local Authorities, which contribute year on year to its ongoing
success. We are all greatly encouraged by the huge rate of engagement by
audiences with Culture Night since the launch and look forward to everyone
getting out and getting involved in their local areas on Friday 20
September.”
