travel grants (of between €250 - €700) for ‘engaged partnerships’ with cultural
partners involving study and exchange of skills and ideas. Grants are paid on
completion of the travel. The grant is an initiative of the European Cultural
Foundation. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak these travel grants have been

Culture Moves Europe’s first call for individual mobility targets artists and cultural professionals working in the following sectors: music, literary translation, architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, visual arts and performing arts. This will fund up to 7,000 artists, creators and cultural professionals to go abroad for professional development or international collaborations, to co-produce, present their works to new audiences or undertake residencies lasting from one to ten months.
It offers mobility grants for applicants legally residing in a country that participates in the Creative Europe Programme, for individuals or groups of up to five people. Open calls will operate monthly on a rolling basis until May 2023 with deadlines set for the end of each month. Ireland in Germany 2024
Ireland in Germany 2024 is a joint partnership between
Culture Ireland and the Department of Foreign Affairs, with the aim of deepening Ireland’s
cultural relations with Germany as a key partner in Europe. In line with the objectives of Global
Ireland 2025, Ireland is committed to strengthening our global cultural presence and impact, and
places a strategic priority on arts and creativity as a key outward expression of our identity.
Culture Ireland and the Department of Foreign Affairs now invite proposals from artists and their
representatives, curators, venues and presenters interested in participating in this special
programme, including from companies which already have outline plans for work to be presented in
Germany in 2024.
Outline projects are requested to be submitted by 5pm Irish
time on Friday 14th April 2023, and further proposals may be considered on a rolling basis at a
later stage, if funding permits. Further information can be found at https://www.cultureireland.ie/news/article/ireland-in-germany-2024-calls-for-expressions-of-interest
